Queens of the Stone Age kicked off their UK tour last night (June 5) at Norwich UEA, with frontman Josh Homme battling on despite a broken foot.
Although he needed a crutch to walk on and off stage, Homme persevered despite his recent foot injury, and delivered a characteristically energetic performance.
The band were joined by Screaming Trees frontman Mark Lanegan, who joined the band onstage to sing 'You're So Vague' and 'Autopilot', returning during the encore for 'In The Fade', 'Avon' and a cover of ZZ Top's 'Precious'.
After the show, the band - who were supported by King Adora and Goatsnake - were presented with silver discs marking 60,000 UK sales of last year's 'Rated R' LP. Josh Homme commented, merely, "...fuck".
