Queens of the Stone Age have filmed a video for the brand new song 'No One Knows', making it the likely choice of new single.
The group were in the process of deciding between three songs for the lead track from their forthcoming album, 'Songs For The Deaf' - 'Millionaire', 'First It Giveth_#1' and 'No One Knows'.
Mainman Josh Homme told MTV that the "almost Beatlesque" track in the process of having a promotional video shot, although shooting won't be complete until today (July 15).
Speaking about the single, he joked: "It's a mystery what that song's about. No one knows. It's kind of almost Beatlesque with a driving beat, and it's kind of jumpy."
The video has been directed by Michel Gondry. Homme explained why they have chosen him. "Michel Gondry did all those videos for Bjork", he revealed, "and we're huge fans of Bjork, so we're excited".
A UK spokesperson for the band told NME.COM a new single is scheduled for October.
The band's new album, 'Songs For The Deaf', is released in the UK on August 26.
